Student Reporting Standard – Revised Guidelines for Victorian Catholic schools
The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) published its F–10 Curriculum Planning and Reporting Guidelines in February 2014 where the minimum reporting requirements for Victorian schools were modified. The new requirements offered schools greater autonomy to communicate student progress and achievement to parents.
The four Catholic Education Offices provided a Victorian Catholic school response to the VCAA's reporting guidelines. The first guidelines were published in 2015 and revised in 2016.
The Reporting Student Progress and Achievement - 2019 Revised Guidelines for Victorian Catholic Schools is available to schools. Schools can access the 2019 revised guidelines on the Catholic Education Victoria Network (CEVN) site under Curriculum and Student Support/Curriculum in Catholic Schools/Reporting.
Student Reporting Technical Standard
ICON has developed the TJAS Documentation – Vendor Specification June 2019, a Student Reporting Technical Standard to accompany these guidelines in response to the full implementation of the Victorian Curriculum from 2017.
The Standard will enable data analytics of student progress and achievement data in ePlan.
