The End of Year (EOY) student rollover is one of the most important administrative activities undertaken for schools each year. Completing rollover tasks by the recommended dates helps ensure that student, class and teacher data is accurate and available when needed for the start of the new school year. By completing each EOY activity within the recommended timeframe, schools help ensure a smooth transition into the new school year, minimise disruptions across integrated systems, and provide staff, students and families with accurate information from day one.
The MACS Training and Knowledge team supports all MACS and Sandhurst primary schools in rolling students into the new academic year in eSIS before schools return in January. (Refer to the resources in the table below).
Resources and support for Non-MACS Shared Services Schools.
All other ICON (non-MACS Shared Services) schools can access the Guides for EOY eFIN and eHR/ Payroll via the table below.
eHR – Recommended to process payrolls in advance to accommodate for eFIN outage – Refer to the checklist for either F1 or F2 schools.
eFIN/eSIS – Ensure all postings are closed off before the close of Business in December 2026.
eFIN – Upon return in 2027, all December transactions are to be completed first. Invoicing, Receipting, December Bank Reconciliation and BAS preparation and submission.
